They tried it here for weekday shows but gave up after while for the reasons
stated.  The people who go for a full night out - just leave and go
somewhere more fun after the band is finished.  Rock clubs tend to be boring
after the show.  They would rather have the people have a warm up cocktail
somewhere else and then show up ready for the heavy drinking hours - peaking
when then final band goes on - then puking in the parking lot.  A tried and
true formula.
