This book is in my collection, and there are no credits as to the actual band - just a photo credit for Robert Ellis. I looked at the entries also credited to Robert Ellis, but no correspondence to the cover photo. I then found the website for Robert Ellis https://www.repfoto.com/index.php5 and browsed there, and just sent a request to them for this info. Interestingly challenging. ...Steve>>> -----Original Message----- From: audities-owner@smoe.org [mailto:audities-owner@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Rafael Paulino Neto Sent: Wednesday, January 07, 2009 5:51 PM To: audities@smoe.org Subject: Re: Who is this band? The weirdest thing is: this was a 'rock encyclopedia', originally from 1977 if I remember well (I actually own it, but it's missing the cover and a few more pages), a time I guess there weren't many books like that out there yet. And you can see Dylan, Bowie, The Beatles and Grateful Dead on the cover, all already 'big' names, so it wouldn't make sense to have an unknown band as the main picture. But, anyway, it seems to be someone quite obscure indeed. Maybe a Repertoire label type hard rock band? The visible part of the logo resembles a flower for me. Definitely a trio, it doesn't look like the rest of the band is missing.
