I had an opportunity to preview the CVS doc the other night. I must say, it was totally enjoyable. A few minor quibbles from someone who was involved with Chris, but no deal breakers. You get about five seconds of me introducing a radio broadcast.. that's worth the price of admission right there. I seem to have a small side career as a talking head in several of these small music documentary films: this one, The Man Band - God Walking Past; Penny Ikinger's thing, and the soon to be released independent radio doc "Where The DJs Roam". I did the score for the latter as well... our little Montana radio station gets quite the plug, and Chris seems bemused at the honored quest treatment he got here in Montana. He'd been here twice before with JW Harding. The interesting thing was after watching this, there was a lively debate as to why CVS isn't famous, and will this film change that... I don't want to give anything away, so you'll have to decide yourself. I assume this was a final cut we saw, but I'm sure these things are tweaked right to the time it gets burned to a dvd. thought you might want to know... -- Ronald Sanchez Director Of A&R Career Records Donovan's Brain
