Well, I'll risk heresy and say I haven't been enamored of the languorous pacing of either one of the recent installments. As well, I thought the 2nd movie was bombastic to the point of a learned helplessness paradigm in psychology. I couldn't wait to leave the theater (and gratefully, unlike the learned helplessness paradigm, I found I could). Off-topic, but if anyone has some really GOOD recommendations to fill in my Netflix list, please feel free to email me offline. I tend to like my movies more along the lines of Bill Forsyth's early movies (Gregory Girl, Local Hero, Comfort & Joy) or perhaps more recently, a movie like The Station Agent. -craig On Wed, Dec 17, 2008 at 7:34 PM, Holmes Online wrote: > Murphy And Labeouf For Batman > 17 December 2008 5:29 PM, PST > > > Eddie Murphy and Shia Labeouf have been lined up to star in the next Batman > movie, according to reports. > > The Beverly Hills Cop actor will star as The Riddler and Labeouf will play > the caped crusader's sidekick Robin in the next instalment, tentatively > titled Gotham. > > Actress Rachel Weisz is reportedly in the frame to play Catwoman.
