That doesn't sound too different from how Difford looked when they performed when I saw them in '88, riding high on their U.S. chart peak ("Hourglass," "853-5937"). Tilbrook is always tremendously engaging, with Squeeze or solo,and Difford always looks impassive (though if you look up "impassive" in the dictionary, there's a picture of Jay Farrar performing live).
