SF is only 7 x 7 miles wide, so nothing is that far. From the Astoria
it's almost a straight shot west 3.5 miles. The California St cable car
will take you ~halfway there - to Van Ness - a scenic & uncrowded ride
you can catch 2 blocks from your hotel. From Van Ness @Sacramento (one
block north from the end of the cable car run) take the bus west on
California to 5th Ave, and just a 1 block walk to Rockit on Clement.
Or cab it...
