All I've heard is the single, which sounds fine, if a bit too 
over-produced.  She (unlike Zooey Deschanel) obviously can't sing for 
toffee, but...c'mon, these are Tom Waits songs.  "Good" singing is not 
important, and she has a bad voice that has some character to it, 
which will do for this record's purpose.

I've heard that Ivo Watts-Russell, of 4AD Records/This Mortal Coil 
fame, sequenced (and possibly mixed) the album, and I'm totally not 
surprised by that because the song I heard has a strong 4AD Records 
vibe to it.  I'll get around to the rest of the album eventually, but 
it's not at the top of my list.
