There was an article in the Boston Globe a few weeks ago about the 
king of the local record stores, Newbury Comics: apparently, vinyl 
sales in their stores have gone from negligible to about 10% of their 
CD sales in the space of the last year.  They've hugely expanded the 
vinyl selection at their flagship store on Newbury Street, too, and it 
seems like most at least mid-level CDs are available on LP as well.
