Speaking of Metal in your Power-pop, I've wanted to mention a great album by The Zeros (the band from Los Angeles, CA) called "4-3-2-1...The Zeros" on Restless Records from 1991. They were marketed as a metal/glam Sunset Strip band, but it's just cool revved-up Power-Pop. Highly recommended for those who like a touch of Metal in your Power-Pop...M http://www.amazon.com/4-3-2-1-Zeros/dp/B000008MM6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1210375217&sr=1-2 The Krinkles www.myspace.com/thekrinkles Our new CD "3 - The Mordorlorff Collection" out now www.cdbaby.com/krinkles > Date: Fri, 9 May 2008 22:50:43 +0000> From: largro13@yahoo.com> To: audities@smoe.org> Subject: Motley Crue "The Dirt"> > I know that it's an old biography, but I finally got around to > reading Motley Crue "The Dirt".> > I had no idea they were fans of the Raspberries, Slade, the Sweet, > and the Beatles (I knew they had covered "Helter Skelter" but I that > that was for the weirdness/violence factor).> > Motley Crue actually had pretty good taste, as fans of music, when > they were starting out.
