Missed the 'Tones a few weeks ago when they played here in Baltimore but like Joseph states they were easily one of great live, fun party bands of the mid-80s. I lived in Philly at the time so it was easy to catch them there or even in NYC. After the Ramones and Replacements they're probably the band I've seen live the most times. Even interviewed Streng and Zaremba years ago when 'Powerstance' came out. They're definitely one of the good ones. ---------------------------------------------------------- Dan Taylor / editor@hungovergourmet.com THE HUNGOVER GOURMET 2007 Independent Press Award Nominee http://www.hungovergourmet.com http://hungovergourmet.blogspot.com On Mar 27, 2008, at 12:06 PM, Joseph Savitz wrote: > Don't know about them now, but the 'Tones were one of the best and > most > fun live bands around back in the mid-Eighties.
