I noted on another list I'm on that it's basically GRACELAND as 
performed by Haircut 100.  Which is fine, and it's a perfectly catchy 
record, except that I can't escape the feeling that this isn't a sound 
that they came to organically, but that they sat down and said, "Okay, 
which parts of the '80s haven't been entirely plundered yet?" and it 
came down to either this or Night Ranger.  It just sounds way too 
studied to me.
