Rob's line about Ray D. being "like a smooth politician, in a good way," is
just how I would characterize my meeting Paul McCartney. Firm handshake, eye
contact, genuine-seeming smile. I was with visiting a friend at Jim Henson
Studios, which used to be A&M Records HQ and was still frequented by music
people who liked the studio facilities. Paul was there for the RUN DEVIL RUN
sessions, just hanging out at an outdoor table with other blokes (none of
whom I recognized.) My friend introduced me, and that was it.

Nothing extraordinary about the encounter, but of course I never miss the
opportunity to mention it, and this thread seemed like a good excuse to hawk
it again.
