Two posts, one day. A record for me. I agree with Stewart and his
assessment 100%. Finally caught FoW live in 2007 opening for Crowded
House. Even a FoW fan, and I consider myself one, would have to agree
that the disparity between the two live performances was overwhelming.
Admittedly I have a man-crush on Neil Finn, but I don't know anyone who
has seen him perform - fan or not - who says he puts on anything but an
enthusiastic, crowd-pleasing show. FoW looked like they would rather be
getting their teeth drilled, and it was a huge turn-off for me... and
seemingly the rest of the crowd who kind of gave up on them halfway
through the show. Very disappointing...
