I can't believe I am moved to post something, but as I was shoveling my 
driveway tonight it occured to me that Bono is the new Sting. And I never 
cared much for either one, but this whole story you related has got my neck 
hair up in a major way.

Um... just to make this kind of audities-worthwhile ... I'm digging "God 
Save the Clientele" (even though I haven't stopped playing "Strange 
Geometry") and The 1900's. Also recently picked up an album by a guy called 
Jack Penate who sounds like "Look Sharp"-era Joe Jackson trying out for The 
English Beat after learning everything about music from George Michael. 
Yeah, so the the references have a daft timeline, but that's how it hit me.
