I love the Nines, especially Properties of Sound, but the samples I heard from the new one didn't do anything for me, so I didn't bother.

The demo of "Insanity" that is still up on their alternate (secret?) myspace (http://www.myspace.com/lewistonsmithe) kicked major ass, but I didn't like the version that appeared on the CD.  That's a pity.  Maybe it's me, but when the demos are better than the finished product, there's something going wrong in the studio.  Or in the rehearsal room . . .
