Thanks for the pump, Drew! ;-P Mazzarella is very special musician for many of us and as the work we did together on the Rooks projects so many years ago, he has full latitude to speak his muse as he see fits with anything I do and I know John feels the same way, which is why it is in there. But I totally understand anyone's befuddlement there. So, if one might be riled by it, well, do yr own book and do yr own way. ;-P > > I repeat my earlier assertions about "SSA:" > 1) If you're interested enough in power pop to be on this list, this book is > an absolute must. And I'm serious......there are NOT a lot of left. Resources are starting to channel into Volume 2. Folks who bought SSA will be hearing from me because I am going to be polling each and everyone of *you* as to what you would like to see in the next book. If you come to me askin' about picking up a copy of the book in March and say you meant to pick it up earlier, it will be a most pleasurable moment for me to say 'snooze ya lose', sorry. It is possible I may do a very small run of additional, but it really depends on my ability to be able to pull it off financially, which in this biz, is a stretch! ;-P > 2) You could throw the text away without reading it and only keep > the rari ties CD included with every copy, and you'd still be getting your > money's worth. There will be another CD in the next one, but I tell ya - John did a HUGELY awesome job getting some truly rare and excellent quality tracks for this! Ta, Bruce @ Not Lame
