Haven't posted much in years, but here's a boring memory from me about him.

Sadly I have not been able to attend any of David's IPO's over the years. Three kids, not living near the locations, etc. has kept me from showing up.

But I did hang out with him many years ago while in LA and attending Poptopia shows for a few nights. We went cd shopping one day and had a good time. I've heard (most of?) the cds I bought that day, but I still haven't read that Record Collector I picked up with the Soft Pop article he said was worth a purchase. But I will one day.

He probably doesn't even remember that day (or me), but I still feel guilty that when he asked to get Subway for lunch (so he'd have his two meals for the day) I didn't even buy his 12 incher (hey now).

Shame on me and my cheapness (and excessive use of parentheses).
