I loved "The Record Peddlar". They had the best selection of UK 12" singles and albums and the "Why the f*ck are you buying this sh*t?" attitude that made shopping an adventure. You just don't get that high-quality abuse when you shop online. > Date: Wed, 2 Jan 2008 20:53:15 -0800> From: hiforman@yahoo.com> Subject: Re: COMMENT: THE MUSIC INDUSTRY> To: audities@smoe.org> > Bob: Like the "Record Peddlar", "Around Again" and my favourite from my university days: "The Nth Hand Book Store" on Harbord Street. The owner, Paul , was quite the audiofile used to write for audiofile magazines of the day. We would have great talks on the latest equipment and records he would get in. He used to put aside for me stuff he thought I would like and even helped me in my quest at the time for a copy of "Nazz Nazz" on red vinyl. _________________________________________________________________ Introducing the City @ Live!
