PLEASE get ready to flame me with wild abandon, but this intial thread 
is about the dumbest one I have EVER seen on Audities! Of COURSE, 
everything in entertainment, whether music, tv, movies, etc is 
completely subjective to individual tastes.....you can never please 
everyone, and even trying to is a dead end pursuit!!

There are no doubt tons of omissions from a personal point of view, 
maybe gender-wise, or taste-wise, but please, NEVER, EVER loose sight 
of the fact that John was motivated by his love of music and talent to 
scribble, and took the time, trouble and sometimes hassle of making a 
project come true.....and that Bruce was onboard to spend money 
printing and getting this book out to all of us....having been lucky to 
help Bruce out on many projects, I do it because I LOVE to support the 
music and artists and labels, and rarely, if ever ask for any payment 
for anything i do...we ALL clearly love this stuff, no matter how broad 
the 'power pop' lines are defined!!!!

I say, quibble MAYBE over your faves being in or out-I am just grateful 
for the effort of these guys and love the stuff you love, and don't get 
too deep into stuff!!!

And I love the year end lists-they are helping me out a ton!!!!
