I'm digging the hell out of it - in fact, I had it in my top 20, posted yesterday. This one is a real progression from their first two. It's smokier and sultrier, and a little more polished. I think it's their best yet. Mark Eichelberger wrote: > Back to posts about music! > Anyone else digging the new album "100 Days 100 Nights" by Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings? If you are looking for a great retro-soul album that throws in a little early James Brown funk into the mix, you will love this album. Sharon is a real strong vocalist and gets tremendous support from the Dap-Kings. Incidentally, The Dap-Kings provided equally strong support for Amy Winehouse on a few tracks on her latest album and were her touring band (when she could get it together to actually mount a tour!) > > This album makes my top 10 list for 2007...and it's available at eMusic. > > -- _______________________ *Sam Smith* *voice: * *303.229.0619 /m * *aim:* lullabypit *skype:* docsammy22 *e-mail:* sam@lullabypit.com *web:* http://www.lullabypit.com <%3Cfont%20face=%22Arial,%20Helvetica,%20sans-serif%22%3Ehttp://www.lullabypit.com%3C/font%3E> *usps:* 7660 Dyer Rd.
