Your basic point is well-taken and will tand unchallenged (by me, anyway).   
HOWEVER, while Ramones songs are indeed simple and presumably easy to play, I 
have yet to hear anyone--ANYone--actually duplicate Johnny Ramone's playing.   
That part ain't as simple as it seems.
