But then there's choices like Lily Allen, about whom critical reaction 
has always been mixed at best.  She's had people whose hatred of her 
music and of her personally has been positively visceral from the very 
beginning, and whose mainstream appeal (in the US at least) turned out 
to be fairly minimal.  So...how's she overrated?  That's the sort of 
thing that tips it into being a list of artists you just don't like.
