The only thing I agree with in Rob's post is that Bollocks is a tremendously important record for punk. Oh, I do agree with one more thing: This statement: "You may not like JL's voice, but rock and roll/punk/whatever isn't about technique, range, etc. as much as it is about delivery and attitude." I view punk as an expression of attitude. Most of it does absolutely nothing for me. I know there's a faction of people who swear by punk, but to my view, for the most part, we're not talking about songs here. And let's not forget the lack of fashion sense. :-) Just my two cents.
