As we are coming up on the close of 2007 and getting ready to compile the best of the year lists, I thought I would add Silverchair's Young Modern to this list.  In fact, I think this release will probably top my 2007 list.  IMHO, nothing I have heard this year comes close to the quality of the music on this release.   Interesting arrangements, a wide variety of song styles, great vocals, and hooks galore.  

Don't let their early Nirvana-inspired releases scare you away from them.  This band has really matured nicely and I am confident this album would bring a smile to the face of many Audities members.  Give it a listen and see for yourself.
