I didn't read the blog that stirred this up... I have my own political beliefs, but I don't think music groups are the best place for such things... don't listen to my radio show if pontificating offends you. That is MY forum, and I use it on occasion to comment on the news. I don't name call, or give the answers... I just point out the week's happenings. Nut job? I have been accused, and threatened. Tuff luck buckwheat, as Mike Love might have said... You can't sit quietly if things are on your mind. You can discuss in a bar, or with friends... (not at work, that's fer sure) or write a letter to the editor, right. It's a shame that proper discourse has been discourage. I guess things are so hopeless most people don't even want to think about it. Worse, we live in an age where ignorance is sort of encouraged. The guy on the radio before me is a producer for the college npr-tv station, and has covers local and national politics. We alway have a subtle exchange as we hand over the keys to the board... heheheh it's hard for people to dismiss Gene as he is the "voice" of the tv station..it buys me some breathing room to rant. rock on rs Bill wrote: > One of the nice thing about Audities is the absence of political > comments.
