Omaha and Hey >Grandma were and are classics. I always liked the Grape's song "8:05" which was more ballady than psych. But I'm not sure sitting in a park watching people try to re-live an era (let alone a musical style) is what I'd want to do with a day. Look at that Lovefest thingy at Rama a few weeks ago with Country Joe, Eric Burden, Mountain, Badfinger, The Turtles, et al. By accounts by most of the attendees, it was either horrible or just plain embarassing. Props to anyone that still has the want to do this for a living.....but bigger props to those who know when it's time to hang it up and leave world's collective memory of you in a good place.
