You've struck a memory. Around the time David was becoming the Buster 
Poindexter persona, I saw him in a club in New York. Sure he was kind 
of loungey but it was a terrific show. 
Why he lost his way soon after I do not know...


Oh, but I'd take the NY Dolls or his first solo album over anything by 
KISS...
