I spent the better part of the 1980's and early '90s searching for a 7" 
single with a rare b-side from one of my favourite bands of all time.

I finally found it for $5.00 at a record show in the mid' 90s. As I was 
returning to my car with it and a number of other pieces of vinyl it fell to 
the ground in my clumsy attempt to extract my car keys from my pocket. I 
looked in the bag after picking it off the ground to find that the ONLY 
record damaged was the one I'd been looking all those years for. It was 
cracked right down the middle.

It took me another whole year to find it again....same record show...same 
vendor. Phew!
