When I finally heard the original, via her stunningly beautiful song "Triple Goddess Twilight", I realized just how much of "We Gotta Get You A Woman" began there<< One of the strengths of early Rundgren is that he was that rare rocker who wasn't afraid to adopt female artists as his influences. I'm not just thinking of Laura Nyro here; "I Saw the Light" is the best Carole King song that Carole King never wrote.
