I can't comment too much on EJ's recent output - outside of Disney/Webber/Rice type stuff (which I mostly abhor) I haven't heard much since "I'm Still Standing". But his 70's run was astounding (great collaborator, perfect band) and largely still enjoyable to hear. b ps - Admire the sentiment, but wouldn't "not putting it out in the first place" be a good quality control tactic if you thought your output was crap? If he's holding himself to higher standard, bravo. But I don't think he's under any record company obligations, is he?
