Hello to our international viewing audience. The IPO anthem ("Pop Rules" by 
Jeremy) is being played as the IPO flag slowly rises over the packed house 
at Los Angeles Coliseum.   It's truly an awesome sight.....the five rings on 
the flag symbolize the continents where powerpop is played.

David Bash, President of the IPO International Committee, lights the torch 
which will proudly burn over Los Angeles the next two weeks. Be sure to see 
our exclusive coverage over NBC and CNBC. But who's kidding?  The best 
coverage will be from our field reporters at Audities and myspacemusic.

The tenth annual International Pop Overthrow begins tonight at 7:30 tonight, 
Pacific Standard Time.
