Unknown Hinson is the shit. 

The shtick - a vampire (this part of his legend has been played down over the 
years since his fantastic cable-access show Wild, Wild, South) who's latest 
identity is a redneck former prisoner who's written every great country song 
and  had the Beatles steal his best ideas.

The Truth - Great, great guitarist who plays sexist, misogynistic country 
music with most of the insults aimed at the "wermmerns" (women). Great songs 
(funny for more than the first few times you hear them) and excellent guitar 
playing and a guy who lives his part so much he only allows himself to be 
interviewed in character. Great show and he brings the "rawk", for sure. You gotta see 
him at least once.....
Sounds offensive but really not as he gets a lot of women in his audience for 
being in his fifties.
