D'oh! Yes, I meant Sondre Lerche. Sorry -- it's Monday, and my brain is apparently still set to "Sunday." Please run, don't walk, and pick up "Phantom Punch." Start with track 3, "Say It All," for the quick impossible-to-get-out-of-your-head pop fix, then gradually allow yourself to enjoy the deeper cuts like the beautiful and haunting "Tragic Mirror," which sounds so much like "King Of America"-era Elvis Costello it's uncanny. I actually heard a rumor that this disc is so Costello-infested because Sondre wrote it while opening for Elvis on tour... which would go a long way toward explaining why it had such an immediate appeal for me. Anyway - looking forward to hearing others' reviews of this one. Definitely the discovery of 2007 (so far) for me. Andrea On 7/9/07, Joe Rivera wrote: > > Do you mean Sondre Lerche?
