Hi Francesc - you're talking about Vaughan Thomas and I agree with you that album should be reissued. The main problem is that no one has ever been about to find Thomas. If I had some contact with Mike Batt I suppose he may know where his former protege is but no luck there. For that matter I had done a CDR of early Mike Batt but we couldn't drum up enough interest to get it reissued. Of course I never in my life thought someone would find Volker Langefeld so perhaps we'll see a Vaughan Thomas reissue in the future. I don't have anything else in the works but I see that Grapefruit at the BBC is coming out next month on RPM. I understand there are some unreleased tracks on that. I've been talking to RPM and John Carter about a series of CDs presenting demos of well regarded UK writers from the 60s but looks like that isn't going to fly as of now. As a consolation there may be one last CD of John Carter demos - like a part 2 to his Denmark Street Demos on Westside. We'll see what happens. --------------------------------- Sucker-punch spam with award-winning protection. Try the free Yahoo! Mail Beta.
