When you've changed Western Civilization for the better, the standards are different. Or at least you should hold yourself to different standards.

But he's been embarrasing himself for years with his "'thumbs up'/look at me/I've got to be the center of attention" attitude.

To paraphrase Jim Carroll, anybody can get attention, anyone can be noticed. But do you have to jump around and play the fool, or do you have presence?
