Glad I'm not the only FYC fan in the room. I was watching The Tube last night, and caught the clip for their cover of "Suspicious Minds." Good Lord, they were a great band. Though I prefer the first record to "The Raw & The Cooked," there's still some great tracks on the latter. And I may be alone in the population who thinks they did justice to the Buzzcocks with the cover of "Ever Fallen in Love." john micek ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christopher Kouzes" To: "Stewart Mason" ; Sent: Thursday, June 21, 2007 12:50 PM Subject: Re: 1989 > Totally agree. > > I just transferred a 21-year-old VHS tape onto DVD of FYC Live at the > Ritz (what a great old MTV show this was!) and boy those songs from the > first album really are great. > > Their second album never did as much for me (though I still think "Good > Thing" is a great single).
