Michael already mentioned http://keepvid.com for downloading youtube or other online videos, which works great. There is also http://zamzar.com which will convert the video from youtube FLV format to others (like wmv or mpeg) and email it to you. Just enter the youtube url, what you want it to convert it to and your email address. I'm not sure if they harvest email addresses so you may want to use a don't care email address. Personally I have a hotmail account I use only for this purpose. Personally, I don't like to go to a website for every video I want to download, so I just use a bookmarklet. To do the same go to this url: http://1024k.de/bookmarklets/video-bookmarklets.html Scroll down until you see the link that says "All In One Video Bookmarklet". Right click on this link and bookmark it as a favorite. Now when you are watching a youtube or other video site and want to download the video, just go to your favorites, select "all in one video bookmarklet", and it will give you the download link. Right click and save as, adding the file extension of .flv.
