The Borges story is in the form of a 'review.' The twist of the story is that when the author of the review compares Cervantes' text to the new version, they are identical -- but the brilliance of the remake is that you could never expect someone in modern times to express himself like a Spaniard from centuries ago, confirming the brilliance of the author of the remake.
