HMV in a further reorganisation to protect profits (figures due to be 
announced soon should show a fall from about £100 million two years ago to 
around £25 million this past financial year) will be "letting go" all buyers 
at store level. A 90 day "consultation" began on Monday and those not able 
to slot into the very few sales assistant jobs available at the end of the 
90 days will be paid off. Security guards and stockroom staff will also be 
affected by this reorganisation...
