Actually, iTunes works quite well for MY artists and my label under the current model, thank you very much -- I just wish the competition wasn't so fierce for that $0.99 consumer committment. The mileage may vary on others in the same situation. It was eMusic that doesn't work for me which is why we haven't climbed on board but is a literal steal for consumers. BTW - Note to artists. Wanna break that lousy 500 downloads in 5 years glass ceiling? Record cover tunes. The two biggest downloads on Bullseye (which has only had product on iTunes since March 2005) has been a cover of "Louie Louie" [1750 downloads] and the old southern chestnut "Dixie" [1532 downloads]. >Well I'll be heading to Liverpool tomorrow for a few days, maybe I'll buy >some good old-fashioned CDs direct from the artists while I am there ;-) > >Did we ever get a roll-call of which Auditeers will be at IPO Liverpool (I >remember Matt Whitby said he was going)? I leave tonight and will be arriving tomorrow morning in Liverpool.... Maybe I'll buy you a warm beverage while I'm there...and we can carry on our rousing debates! :-) Jaimie Vernon, Bullseye _________________________________________________________________ Windows Live Hotmail.
