I'm with ya Rick. My favorite shows on Underground Garage are Manitoba's show (though I don't get to listen too often at night) and I always dug Joan Jett's show (though I guess she's on Faction now?). Kim Fowley and Andrew Loog Oldham like to hear themselves talk too much, though I like their musical taste, but some of the other hosts tend to play too much older stuff for my taste. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the roots of garage but would prefer it strayed more towards the last two decades at times. The Punk channel has been great... even flipped it on this afternoon to hear "Kids Don't Follow" by the Replacements. Don't think I've heard that on the radio since I played it on my own show years ago. I'm curious to hear who they line up to do shows on the channel. I've even been giving some thought to pitching a show of my own since that channel's right up my alley... ---------------------------------------------------------- Dan Taylor / editor@hungovergourmet.com THE HUNGOVER GOURMET http://www.hungovergourmet.com http://hungovergourmet.blogspot.com On May 15, 2007, at 4:16 PM, 2000 Man wrote: > Isn't the new Sirius Punk station just swell? I hope you like it. The first one is pretty good.
