Heard "In The Modern World" on Little Steven and took a flyer. He's got a 
voice you either love or hate (I think it suits his material perfectly) and 
there are some great songs here (plus a dirgey version of "Bastards Of 
Young") and yes, The Boss singing a verse on another tune.

I have no frame of reference regarding how popular he is, but this is his 
best work to date. Won't unseat Ian Hunter on my best-of-07-to-date list, 
but will get many many spins.
