It was over lunch with Matthew Page (brother of BNL's Steven). His family's 
Page Publications was in charge of all the indie product for EMI-Canada at 
one point and so we were out having a discussion about our potential move 
over to EMI after leaving KOCH. We went to a steakhouse to eat and right in 
the middle of the Caesar salad my tooth broke off. Which was no surprise to 
me as it was capped years before from a hockey accident I had incurred when 
I was 10 years old [oh, how Canadian] but Matthew was a bit taken aback!

Page ended up leaving EMI to work for the Children's Group Label and we 
signed with FUSION III instead....but I did manage to get his band Boyce's 
Road onto the Bullseye Night bill at IPO New York in 2002 (?)...which was a 
rather phenomenal evening.

I never got the tooth fixed as I like telling this anecdote instead :-)

The keyboard player in my current band is a dentist and has been threatening 
for months to kidnap me and repair it while I'm unconscious...
