I'd describe it as Beach Boys + Curt Boettcher +

Curt Boettcher has been a recent discovery for me and The Millenium is a favorite.
I don't remembered who else recommended Pugwash to me but I have had it written 
down as a must-get for a while now... thanks for the reminder!  ;-)
