The writing's still sharp. It's just that they've shredded the shows. There are noticeable chunks missing from the episodes, dialogue has been overdubbed in some cases, and sometimes they couldn't even be bothered to do that, leaving the actors' lips moving with nothing coming out. I'm still laughing at what's there...but it's hard to forget what's NOT there when you can't go more than a few minutes without being very aware that something's been excised. WILL
