Kevin -- I'm with you on that -- Nickleback actually does pale in comparison to GFR. However -- a few years ago, Capitol put out a 3-disc Grand Funk comp. A friend of mine gave me a promo of the set. Yikes! There are maybe 8 or 9 songs that are good -- everything else is turgid, plodding, boring, etc. They really only got interesting once they started working with Todd Rundgren and Frank Zappa.
