Jeff, this sounds like an old videotape that made the rounds in the 1980s. If this is it, it was shot by Mal, and I remember it as being very boring. It came in a large movie film tin with a badge and some other stuff.

Of course, if this isn't the tape I'm thinking of, I'll try to be of better help next time.
