Greg Cartwright, whose band The Reigning Sound backs Mary on the album and 
on tour (that was them on Conan) was also in the Compulsive Gamblers (and 
The Oblivians). He wrote over half the songs on the record; including that 
one (though it was older - like when The Detroit Cobras re-gendered his "Bad 
Man" into "Bad Girl" when he produced their record)

He is my rock and roll hero.
