Somehow I overlooked (or didn't receive?) the digest in which a few people replied to my post about Husker Du, and my suggestion that they couldn't reunite due to Grant Hart's passing. I just learned of this while scouring the archives, wondering why my Husker Du post hadn't shown up (when, in fact, it had). I am terribly embarrassed to have given out such incredibly false information! I could've sworn that I learned of his death years ago - but obviously I was misinformed. My apologies. And I've very glad to learn that I was mistaken. So... any talk of a reunion? : - ) I'm a big fan of their "New Day Rising" album, and I also really liked "Warehouse." For me, the Mould songs are the best, though I also like a few of Grant's, including Too Much Spice and Tell You Why Tomorrow. My faves by Mould from this album are Could You Be The One? (of course), It's Not Peculiar (love that one!), Friend You've Got To Fall (fab), No Reservations, and Standing In The Rain. Great stuff. By the way, last night I had a great time enjoying duckpin bowling at Seidel's in Baltimore, while getting to see The Pale Stars and The Jennifers. The Pale Stars revealed some fine new tunes in their set, after opening with a cool version of September Gurls. I really dig their song, "Trussed," from their debut album. It was good to see 3/4 of Splitsville in the house, along with the band's producer, but it reminded me how much I want to hear another album! Be seeing you, Bill
