putting 2 threads together...I remember hearing/reading somewhere that 
Fountains of Wayne, before they had that name, actually were a band called The 
Wallflowers. They ended up selling the rights to that name to the band we all know 
as The Wallflowers! Nice way to make a lil cash. 

Also, before they became the "more than words" band, I remember back in the 
day Extreme was a band called Dream, and I think it was either another band or 
a TV show that they sold the name rights to....hence the new name EX-DREAM/ 
X-treme!
